The festivities will begin on Saturday, Dec. 13, with a special kiddush after services. The formal installation will take place at shul on Sunday, Dec. 14, beginning with a 12:30 p.m. luncheon prepared by Matthew Kurtz and followed by a program that will include musical offerings and remarks by invited friends. Rabbi Doug Heifetz of Congregation Oseh Shalom in Laurel, Maryland, will conduct the formal installation.
