B’nai Emunah Teaming with Jewish Community Endowment Fund for Long-Term Viability
Congregation B’nai Emunah has entered into conversations with the Jewish Community Endowment Fund (JCEF) to establish an endowment for B’nai Emunah, which will be used to ensure the sustained viability of our synagogue. It will be professionally managed for long-term growth at a very low fee, and it will accept both immediate donations, including IRA Charitable Rollovers, and bequests from estates.
We are also exploring the establishment of Charitable Gift Annuities, which would allow members of B’nai Emunah to deposit money with JCEF and receive aggressive returns during their lifetime (currently, 6.7% for a 70-year-old, and 9.3% for an 85-year-old), with the remaining money going to B’nai Emunah and JCEF upon passing.
Additional information will be forthcoming as plans progress. If you have immediate questions or concerns, please contact the office.
