How to Get Info for Kindertransport Pensions

Critical information – namely, a contact phone number -- was mistakenly left out of last month’s article about a new British law that should allow German Jews who fled to England via the kindertransport on the eve of World War II to receive full pensions from the German government.

Interested persons may call the telephone hotline established by the British government to locate and assist those who may benefit from the new law. That number is +44 (0)191 218 7777. One does not have to be a British citizen to take advantage of this assistance!

Our deep appreciation goes to Max Drimmer for bringing news of the law – which may benefit several B’nai Emunah members – to our attention. Todah rabah, Max!
