This year, the school has a new face. Director Jennie Dahl is leading a team of teachers in an innovative educational program called Shabbat Shalom School. The school serves students ages 4 to 15, and meets three Saturdays and one Sunday a month.
The focus is on hands-on, child-centered activities, and the students will be an integral part of Shabbat services! Sundays will be family-focused with special activities such as cooking, field trips, dancing, etc. In addition, Education Committee Co-chair Sharon Bleviss will be teaching the Confirmation Class, which serves post-B’nai Mitzvah students.
